We are excited to introduce Border0's Access Requests feature, enabling organizations to implement Zero Standing Privileges (ZSP) effectively. With this feature, users can request temporary, just-in-time access to critical resources, such as databases, servers, and Kubernetes clusters, providing a clear justification and desired duration. Approvers receive real-time notifications and can grant access with fine-grained, application-specific permissions. Once approved, access is automatically provisioned and expires after the specified duration, ensuring that no lingering permissions remain. All sessions are monitored and logged for audit purposes, enhancing security and compliance.

Complementing this, the new Border0 Slack App streamlines the access request workflow by allowing users to initiate and manage access requests directly within Slack. By simply typing /b0 request, users can browse available resources and submit access requests without leaving their workspace. Approvers are notified instantly and can approve or deny requests within Slack, facilitating swift and efficient access management. This integration enhances productivity and ensures that access control processes are both secure and user-friendly.

Additionally, Border0 now offers seamless Kubernetes integration, allowing users to access Kubernetes clusters securely using their existing SSO credentials, eliminating the need for VPNs or complex configurations. Administrators can define granular, Kubernetes-specific access policies, controlling actions at the namespace and resource levels. Border0 also provides comprehensive audit trails and full session recordings of kubectl exec commands, ensuring complete visibility and control over Kubernetes access activities.
