Prerequisites
- Administrator access to your Kandji MDM portal
- Border0 macOS app installer file, border0.pkg (get the installer package from here)
- Devices enrolled in your Kandji MDM environment
Adding Border0 as a Custom App in Kandji

- Navigate to Library in the left-hand navigation bar
- You should see the Library page listing all the available apps, profiles, and scripts
Step 2: Create a New Custom App
- In Library, click the Add new button in the top-right corner
- Next, in the Add Library Item page, click on the Custom Apps card
- This will expand the Custom Apps card with more details. Then click on Add & Configure
Step 3: Configure the Custom App
- Add a title, for example, Border0, and optionally upload a custom app icon for the library
- Set scopes for the deployment under the Assignment section with Assignment Maps or Classic Blueprints
- Configure how the app is delivered to devices in the Installation section. Choose Install once per device, Audit and enforce or Install on-demand from Self Service
- If you choose Install on-demand from Self Service, then customize the app furthermore in the Self Service section
- Next, in the Install Details, select Installer Package (install .pkg or .mpkg), and then upload the border0.pkg file (you can get the installer package from here)
Step 4: Click on the Save button to publish the Border0 app
